RNFA - RN First AssistantAs a First Assistant Registered Nurse, you'll support physicians in clinic, hospital, and OR settings to provide top-tier medical care. You will collaborate closely with both physicians and patients in clinical and hospital settings to ensure excellent care. You'll play a crucial role in patient care planning, by interacting and coordinating with other healthcare providers. One main responsibility is assisting surgeons during operations.

This includes handling instruments, providing exposure, cutting tissue, ensuring hemostasis, and suturing tissues. After surgeries, you'll help manage patients with other healthcare professionals. Assisting with patient discharge and coordinating with community resources when needed is another key aspect of this role.We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.QualificationsSuccessful completion of a recognized Nursing program.A minimum of (2) two years of previous experience in nursing.2yr or more of RNFA experience.

CVOR experience highly preferred.The candidate must be a Registered NurseThe ideal candidate should possess RN-First Assistant certification, demonstrating their proficiency in aiding with surgical procedures.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire
