IERUS offers competitive compensation packages, retirement options, and benefits packages.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign, manufacture, and test electronic hardware and/or firmware for RADAR, high-power, and high speed applicationsDevelop circuit board designs for engineering and operational systemsDevelops, documents and maintains electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirementsDevelops technical performance specificationsConduct technical analysis to verify designs meet performance specifications and compatibilityDevelops test plans/procedures and supports the execution test eventsSupports the execution of various methods of testing and analysis to support design and production and to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsConducts formal trade studies and literature research to support future product designsDevelops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.Required QualificationsBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics2+ years of experience developing system architecture, circuit design, component selection, and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout for analog, digital, or mixed-signal applicationsExperience with PCB layout software such as Altium, Mentor Graphics, Allegro, or KiCad, Ansys, HFSS, LTSpice, Xilinx Vivado/Intel QuartusExperience testing and troubleshooting electronic systemsExperience with digital, analog, power, and Radio Frequency (RF) electronicsExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.Desired QualificationsKnowledge of PCB design and manufacturing processesKnowledge of antennas, wave guides, gimbals, filters, complex electronics, RF signal processing, RF amplifiers, RF transceivers, Intermediate Frequency Processing, and/or serial rapid Input/Output (I/O) interfaces (SRIO)Knowledge of digital and RF test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopesExperience in one or more of these focused areas: analog/digital circuits, gimbal design/control, power supply and distribution, firmware/Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), LabView, control systems, RF theory, electromagnetic compatibilityExperience with MATLABFamiliarity with IPC electronic fabrication and assembly standards.Location: Huntsville, ALIERUS Technologies is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
