A small product development firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Firmware Engineer to join their engineering team, developing firmware for commercial equipment used by major global brands.
This role focuses on Embedded C++ development for STM32-based products, working closely with hardware, electronics, controls, testing, and product development teams.
What You Will Work On
- Develop Embedded C++ firmware for STM32 microcontroller-based products
- Support new product development and existing product improvements
- Work closely with hardware engineers on board bring-up, testing, and debugging
- Develop and maintain firmware for connected commercial equipment
- Troubleshoot firmware and hardware-level issues across embedded systems
- Work with communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART
- Support product validation, integration, and manufacturing-related engineering activities
- Contribute to firmware architecture, documentation, and ongoing product reliability improvements
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Embedded C++ experience
- Hands-on STM32 experience is essential
- Experience with microcontroller peripherals and communication protocols
- Comfortable reading schematics and working with hardware teams
- PIC32 experience would be desirbale
- Experience with Modbus, CAN, Ethernet, or similar protocols would be desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership in a small team environment
