You will work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to build reliable, high-performance embedded solutions from concept through production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processorsWrite efficient, reliable code in C/C++ for real-time systemsDevelop drivers for peripherals such as SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, ADC, and GPIOWork with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug system issuesOptimize firmware for performance, memory usage, and power consumptionImplement and maintain RTOS-based systems when requiredConduct code reviews, debugging, and testingCreate documentation for firmware architecture and featuresSupport product testing, validation, and production releasesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience developing firmware for embedded systemsStrong programming skills in C or C++Experience working with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, PIC, AVR, or similar)Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes)Understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocolsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Preferred QualificationsExperience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, etc.)Knowledge of bootloaders and firmware update systems (OTA updates)Low-power embedded design experienceFamiliarity with embedded Linux systemsExperience with wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa)Unit testing and CI/CD for embedded systemsNice to HaveExperience bringing products from prototype to mass productionKnowledge of secure firmware developmentFamiliarity with hardware schematics and PCB designFPGA experienceDue to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen.Benefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
