Network Security Engineer
Join my client's Infrastructure Team as a Network Security Engineer, where you'll design, implement, and maintain security solutions in a hybrid cloud environment. We're looking for a firewall expert , especially in Palo Alto Firewalls , to ensure secure and reliable system communication.
***This role requires the candidate TO LIVE in Arizona***
The position is fully remote, however, the person must live in the state of Arizona
***Must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder to apply
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and administer Palo Alto Firewalls , Azure Firewall, and Cisco ASA
* Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot firewall rules, object groups, and IP groups
* Monitor security metrics and logs using Dynatrace and Splunk
* Implement and enforce security best practices for firewalls and load balancers
* Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to optimize network security
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of firewall administration experience (Palo Alto preferred)
* 3+ years with cloud firewall technologies (Azure Firewall)
* Strong knowledge of network services, routing, and layer 2 networking
* Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, and hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, VMware)
* Experience with security monitoring tools ( Splunk, Dynatrace )
* Certifications in Palo Alto, Cisco, or Azure highly desirable
