PositionSummary

WeareseekingaFireSystemsProjectManagerwithexperienceinfirealarminstallation,lifesafety,andlowvoltageconstruction .OurProjectManagers(PM)areresponsiblefortheexecutionoflowvoltagesystemprojectsinaccordancewithprojectbudgets,codecompliance,andmanagingthefieldoperationsteam’sworkqualityandworkoutput.Thispositionwillworkcloselywithoursalesteam,installationteam,andclientstoensureasounddesign,seamlessinstallation,andprofessionalcommissioningofourprojects.ThePMisakeypositionforourgrowingteamandrequiresattentiontodetailinallaspectsofplanningandexecutingprojects.Customerinterfaceandmanagementofstaffrequireahighdegreeofeffectivehumanrelations.Communicationskills,bothverbalandwritten,areimportantaspectsofthePMposition.

KeyResponsibilities

ProjectPlanning&Execution

• Defineprojectscope,objectives,anddeliverables.
• Developandmanageprojectbudgets,schedules,andworkplans.
• Assigntasksandmanageresourcestomeetprojectgoals.
• Coordinatewithinternaldepartments,subcontractors,andvendors.
• Ensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications,codes,andsafetystandards.
• Maintainaccurateprojectdocumentation(RFIs,submittals,changeorders,equipmentlogs,meetingminutes).

Scheduling&FieldCoordination

• Developconstructionschedulesandmanpowerplans.
• Conductpre-construction,progress,andclose-outmeetings.
• Interfacewithinspectorsandensureallpermitsandfeesareobtained.
• Trackmaterialdeliveriesandadjustschedulesasneededtomaintainprogress.

FinancialManagement

• Prepareandmanagebudgets,costforecasts,andbillingschedules.
• Review,estimate,andprocesschangeorders.
• Supportpositivecashflowandassistwithprojectclose-outanalysis.

Customer&TeamCommunication

• Serveastheprimarycustomercontactforallprojectphases.
• CollaboratewithSales,Engineering,Service,andFieldOperationsteams.
• Identifyandresolveprojectissuesorconflictsefficiently.

Qualifications

• ConstructionManagement,Engineering,orrelatedfieldpreferred.
• 3-5yearsproficientinstallationskillsandunderstandingoffirealarmsystems
• 3-5yearsofprojectmanagementexperienceinfirealarm,lifesafety,DAS,MDU,orlowvoltageconstruction .
• Provenabilitytomanageprojectsfrominceptionthroughcompletion.
• Strongfamiliaritywithprojectmanagementsoftware,methodologies,andbestpractices.
• Excellentproblem-solving,analytical,andorganizationalskills.
• Exceptionalcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
• Abilitytomanagemultipleprojectssimultaneouslyinafast-pacedenvironment.
• ValidCaliforniadriver’slicensewithacleandrivingrecord.
