Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Technician to join a growing fire protection team. In this field-based role, you'll inspect, service, repair, and install fire suppression systems and related equipment for commercial customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and building a long-term career in a stable, essential industry.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues

  • Perform installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance

  • Complete service documentation and inspection reports

  • Provide professional customer service while working on-site

  • Follow all safety standards and industry regulations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of fire protection, suppression, or related field service experience

  • Experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire suppression systems

  • Knowledge of NFPA and NICET standards preferred

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently and manage a service territory

  • Valid driver's license

Work Environment

This is a field-based position servicing commercial customer locations throughout the region. Technicians work independently, manage their own schedules, and receive the support, tools, and resources needed to succeed.
