Fire Sprinkler Designer

About the Role:

Diamondback Fire Protection LLC is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team. If you have 3+ years of experience in fire protection design and hold a NICET Level 2 or higher certification (preferred), we want to hear from you. This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel requirements to meet project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects using AutoSPRINK or similar design software

Perform hydraulic calculations in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely drawing submittals

Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design documentation for AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) approval

Ensure all designs comply with local codes, NFPA standards, and client specifications

Revise and update drawings based on field conditions, change orders, or inspector feedback

Provide technical support during the installation process

Qualifications:

Proficient with design software (e.g. AutoSprink, AutoCAD, and Revit)

Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum NICET Level 2 certification (preferred)
