We would love to speak with any Fire Alarm Technicians that have 4+ years of experience and are comfortable with programming systems. Must be proficient in programming with one of the following Fire Alarm Systems: Siemens, Edwards (EST 3 and/or EST 4) Notifier, or Simplex.

An established, employee-owned Fire Protection company is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician / Fire Alarm Programmer to join its growing team. This role focuses primarily on fire alarm programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system startup for commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, configure, test, and commission commercial fire alarm systems
• Perform system startup, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
• Conduct inspections and verify compliance with NFPA standards
• Support installation and service teams during project execution
• Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code requirements
• Provide technical support and training when needed

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Fire Alarm experience
• Strong programming and commissioning experience
• Must be proficient in programming at least one of the following:
  • Siemens
  • Edwards EST3 and/or EST4
  • Notifier
  • Simplex
• Experience troubleshooting addressable fire alarm systems
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire alarm regulations
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with electronic security or integrated systems
• Project leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with multiple fire alarm platforms

Location Requirement
Candidates should reside within approximately 45 miles of West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana (north of Baton Rouge).
Outstanding candidates outside the area may be considered with relocation assistance.
