This is an employee owned fire protection company with an immediate need for a lead Fire Alarm Technician focused primarily on programming and commissioning. The company is growing and offers continuous training and clear advancement opportunity, including the potential for this role to grow into a Project Management position over time.

Schedule: Full time, based in Baton Rouge, LA.

Compensation: $60,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will serve as a lead Fire Alarm Technician, with primary responsibility for programming and commissioning fire alarm systems. You'll work with systems from manufacturers such as Siemens, Edwards (EST3 and/or EST4), Notifier, or Simplex, and there is a clear path to grow into a Project Management role for candidates interested in that direction.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a commercial Fire Alarm Technician
• Proficiency programming at least one of the following systems: Siemens, Edwards (EST3 and/or EST4), Notifier, or Simplex
• Comfortable with hands on programming and commissioning work

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET certification in fire alarm systems, or willingness to pursue certification
• Interest in advancing into a Project Management role
• Experience across multiple fire alarm system manufacturers
