Fire Alarm Installer - Job Description:
As a Fire Alarm Installer, you ll contribute to the installation and startup of life safety systems while working closely with experienced field teams. Key responsibilities include:
Route and secure fire alarm circuits through approved pathways, including J-hooks, O-rings, and conduit.
Assist with connecting and installing field devices such as smoke detectors, pull stations, speaker/strobes, and life safety equipment.
Use an multi-meter to support basic system testing, continuity checks, and troubleshooting activities.
Develop a working knowledge of fire alarm systems, initiating devices, notification appliances, relay emergency control functions, and fire codes.
Apply fundamental NFPA fire alarm requirements in the field, including an understanding of code terminology and the responsibilities of the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Basic Requirement:
Valid Driver s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Minimum 1 year of experience installing fire alarm systems.
