Reporting to the Director of Fintech Risk, the full-time Fintech Risk Associate will independently execute risk-management activities across the Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders and fintech partners while managing due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and remediation efforts in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities: Lead risk-based due diligence for prospective fintech partners, evaluating various risk factors and presenting findings to senior management Own pre- and post-launch risk and compliance requirements for new partners, ensuring launch-readiness and tracking commitments Conduct ongoing monitoring and risk reviews for assigned partners, assessing adherence to policies and regulatory requirements Required qualifications: Typically 5-8 years of experience in banking, fintech, risk management, or a related field Strong experience with financial crimes compliance, including BSA/AML and fraud risk Working knowledge of banking and payments compliance regulations Experience with Third-Party Risk Management and related interagency guidance Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
