FinTech Integration Engineer, USA

Remote Full Time Finance

We are building the operating system for the great wealth transfer. We design and deploy AI-native software that transforms how private banks, family offices, and wealth managers handle estate successions.

We build long-term partnerships with leading private banks. Our first product went from concept to beta in only six months.

We are lean, fast, and doing work that has never been done before.

The Role

We are hiring an onsite FinTech Integration Engineer to be based full-time on-site with one of our banking partners in the US, exact location to be determined.

This is not a remote role. You will sit with our partner, work alongside their private wealth planning and relationship management teams, and be the operational bridge between Successions and one of the most sophisticated private banking environments in the world.

Your primary mission during the design partnership is to understand how the bank operates wealth transfer cases today: every step, every friction point, every stakeholder. You will be responsible for translating that operational reality into product decisions that make Successions indispensable.

You are a key Successions team member reporting to the Successions CTO. You operate inside the bank.

What You Will Do

Design immersion

  • Shadow wealth advisors, relationship managers, and estate planning specialists on live succession cases with full partner-bank permission and appropriate confidentiality protocols
  • Document existing succession workflows end to end, from estate opening to final settlement, across asset classes, jurisdictions, and client profiles
  • Map every point of friction: where cases slow down, where data gets lost, where coordination between notaries, lawyers, tax experts, and the bank breaks down
  • Identify the three to five highest-priority design problems

Stakeholder coordination

  • Build working relationships with the bank’s internal succession, legal, compliance, tax, and technology teams
  • Facilitate structured feedback sessions between the bank’s subject matter experts and the Successions product and engineering team
  • Manage the agenda, outputs, and follow-ups from joint design sessions
  • Serve as the single point of contact for day-to-day questions and coordination between Successions and the bank

Product input

  • Translate operational insights from the bank into structured product requirements for the Successions team
  • Validate product decisions against real workflow constraints before they are built
  • Run live demos of Successions tools with the bank’s advisory team and document feedback in structured form
  • Participate in weekly product reviews with the Successions team, representing the bank’s perspective

Reporting and documentation

  • Maintain a running log of design decisions, workflow observations, and stakeholder feedback
  • Produce a monthly written progress report for both the Successions leadership team and the bank’s designated program lead
  • Deliver an end-of-partnership design report at project conclusion: a complete documented architecture of the succession workflow as it exists today, the friction points identified, the product decisions made, and the estimated savings and efficiencies unlocked

Data and compliance

  • Handle all work in accordance with the bank’s data governance policies and applicable US data protection laws
  • Operate within the bank’s information security framework
  • Maintain awareness of relevant SEC and FINRA guidance on outsourcing, data handling, and conduct of business as they apply to your embedded role

What You Bring

Experience

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in private banking operations, wealth management, estate planning, or a closely related field in the US
  • Direct experience working within or alongside a American private bank, family office, or wealth management firm. You understand how these institutions operate from the inside
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with succession, estate administration, or trust and estate planning workflows is a plus. You know what a succession case looks like from opening to closing
  • Experience designing and implementing agentic process workflows is a plus.

Technical and regulatory

  • Working knowledge of the US private banking regulatory environment
  • Familiarity with American succession laws and cross-border estate complexity
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and learning new platforms quickly as this role requires both operational rigor and genuine curiosity about technology
  • Experience with workflow documentation, process mapping, or business analysis is a strong advantage

Languages

  • English fluency required as all Successions internal communication, product documentation, and reporting is in English
  • Additional languages are an advantage given the international client base of private banking
  • High degree of professional discretion as you will be trusted with sensitive operational information about one of our most important commercial relationships
  • Exceptional written communication for your monthly reports and end-of-year design document are core deliverables
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity. Successions is an early stage company requiring adaptability
  • Genuinely curious about how private banking actually works, not how it is supposed to work
  • Calm, structured, and organised under pressure as succession cases move slowly until they suddenly move very fast
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the US

What We Offer

  • A front-row seat to the design of a product
  • Direct access to the Successions leadership team and a meaningful voice in product direction
  • Equity at an early-stage company
  • The autonomy to define how this engagement works, and the responsibility that comes with that

Successions Technologies, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the clients and institutions we serve.
