Overview
Fintech & Financial Services Litigation Associate — Location: United States. A leading global law firm is seeking a 2–4 year Associate to join its Fintech and Financial Advisory practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation, government investigations and enforcement matters within the financial services and payments sector. Associates will advise clients on regulatory risk and high-stakes disputes while gaining exposure to cutting-edge issues in fintech and consumer financial services.
Responsibilities
- Support litigation and enforcement matters involving financial services clients
- Manage discovery processes and respond to subpoenas and civil investigative demands
- Assist with government investigations and regulatory inquiries
- Prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, motions and settlement agreements
- Participate in witness interviews, depositions and client meetings
- Conduct legal research on consumer financial services laws and regulations
- Support development of litigation and settlement strategies
Who You Are
- 2–4 years of litigation and/or enforcement experience
- Experience with government investigations or regulatory matters preferred
- Exposure to consumer financial services or fintech matters is advantageous
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $235,000 – $310,000 (DOE)
