NSC Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Cabinet Maker for a custom manufacturer for commercial and retail cabinets in Cleveland, OH!

Cabinet Maker - 1st Shift

Pay: $25 - $28 hr D.O.E. Job Duration: Temp to Permanent Location: Cleveland, Ohio Hours: 7 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

• Interpret Drawings: Read and analyze architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Material Preparation: Select, measure, and cut woods, laminates, veneers, and particleboard to exact dimensions.
• Machine Operation: Set up and operate commercial woodworking machinery, including table saws, routers, and power sanders.
• Lamination & Finishing: Apply plastic laminates, edge banding, veneers, and custom finishes to panels and fixtures.
• Product Assembly: Build base cabinets, custom millwork, and complex retail displays using specialized hand and power tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure strict adherence to tolerances, brand specs, and structural durability.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean workstation and follow all OSHA and shop safety guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Prefer 4+ years of professional woodworking or commercial casework experience.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of cabinetry techniques, hardware installation, and plastic laminate applications.
• Tool Proficiency: Mastery of standard woodshop machinery, manual hand tools, and measurement layout tools.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and handle physical workshop demands.
• Bonus Skills: Trade school certifications or experience operating CNC machinery are highly valued.
