We are looking for a detail-oriented Finish Carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship and understands the importance of delivering high-quality final punch work and warranty repairs for homeowners.ResponsibilitiesPerform final punch list corrections on residential homes, ensuring all items meet company and client standards.Address warranty service claims related to workmanship, including but not limited to:Interior trim and molding repairsDoor and hardware adjustmentsCabinet alignment and touch-upsMinor drywall repair and texture blendingBaseboards, casing, and crown molding installation or repairCaulking, sealing, and finish detail workInstall, repair, and adjust interior doors, windows, trim, and finish carpentry components.Read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and punch lists.Maintain high-quality craftsmanship with strong attention to detail.Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding scope of repairs and timelines.Maintain clean and organized work areas, especially in occupied residences.Perform daily tool and equipment inspections.Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.Drive to multiple job sites within assigned parishes as needed.Document completed work and report status updates to supervisors.Assist with minor general carpentry tasks as assigned.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.QualificationsMinimum of 3+ years of residential finish carpentry experience required.Experience performing punch-out and warranty work preferred.Prior disaster recovery or residential reconstruction experience is a plus.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Frequent use of hands, tools, and power equipment.Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.Ability to work in residential homes and varying site conditions.Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.Communication SkillsAbility to clearly communicate with supervisors, team members, and homeowners.Must be able to read and understand punch lists and work orders.Ability to document completed repairs accurately.Safety ComplianceUnderstanding of residential job site safety standards.Compliance with OSHA regulations and all LEMOINE safety policies.Maintain awareness of surroundings while working in occupied homes.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.Relevant trade certifications are a plus.Physical Demands & Work ConditionsWork is primarily performed in residential homes throughout:Orleans ParishTerrebonne ParishJefferson ParishLafourche ParishMay require travel between multiple job sites daily.Work environment may include occupied homes and active reconstruction sites.Must be able to work flexible hours as required to meet homeowner scheduling needs.Equal Opportunity EmployerLEMOINE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
