CarpenterJoin our dynamic team as a Carpenter, where you will play a vital role in constructing modular housing components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both factory production and on-site assembly, ensuring the creation of durable and precise homes. This role will be in the same location each week. The shift is Mon - Thurs and they're 10 hour days. Starting pay rate will be $20 - $30 depending on skill level. We are located in Andover, MA.ResponsibilitiesPerform carpentry tasks in both controlled factory settings and residential job sites.Frame and assemble wall, floor, and roof components using standardized methods.Assist in the installation of doors, windows, subfloors, sheathing, and other structural elements.Collaborate with team members to ensure assemblies are accurate and ready for follow-on trades.Interpret shop and construction drawings for accurate builds and installations.Operate saws, nailers, routers, and other woodworking tools safely and efficiently.Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company standards.Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to all safety procedures.Essential SkillsProficiency in finish carpentry and framing techniques.Experience in commercial construction.Ability to interpret construction and shop drawings.Skill in operating woodworking tools such as saws, nailers, and routers.Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with modular housing construction is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.Why Work Here?Become part of a pioneering team that is reshaping the future of housing. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
