We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated software engineer who is eager to interact with other members of the team, and other teams at Apple. As a Finder and Files engineer, you will work on UI and data model for Finder and Files, applications used every day by millions of people. In this position you will participate in all stages of software development, from new feature design and implementation, to maintenance of prior releases. You will work through rapid development cycles, remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty, showing your drive to deliver dependable software.Minimum QualificationsBachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceObject-oriented programming experiencePreferred QualificationsComfortable updating existing UI, and creating new UIAbility to deeply analyze multi-client synchronization problemsExcellent communication and collaborative skills in a highly collaborative environmentUpbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitudeAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
