Financial Systems Analyst, SeniorKAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Financial Systems Analyst, Senior, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will provide financial management support for the division. Analyst will use their expertise to provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.Primary Duties:Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending.Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.Manage finances across multiple funding types.Track budgets, costs, and variances.Produce executive summaries.Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.Interpret and apply financial management principles.Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.Skills and Qualifications:Demonstrated competency in Navy ERP.Demonstrated experience training other contractor BFMs to ensure their competencyAbility to provide guidance and oversight to other contractors at the junior and mid experience levels.Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skillsSelf-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to qualityMicrosoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbility to work independentlyAbility to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlinesDetail orientedExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issuesAbility to adapt to evolving technologyEducation and Experience:Master's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field, preferred.Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field, requiredEarned Value Management Professional (EVMP) certification or equivalent, requiredDAU Cost Estimating credential, requiredTen (10) or more years of professional experience directly related to the positionExperience working in DoD program building budgets and developing budget exhibits.At least three (3) years of supervisory experience.Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation: While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000.
