Financial Systems AnalystBring your drive for excellence, team orientation, and customer commitment to Independence; help us renew and reimagine our business and shape the future of health care.The Financial Systems Analyst will support, enhance, and optimize Oracle EPM Planning, EPCM, and Strategic Modeling applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and continuous improvement of financial planning tools. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial acumen, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.Key Responsibilities:Support day-to-day administration of Oracle EPM planning, EPCM, and strategic modeling applicationsValidate data loads to ensure accuracy and reconciliation between systemsManage application configuration, including metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, and workflowsMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with IT partnersPartner with Actuarial, FP&A, and Capital Planning teams to support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term strategic planningTranslate financial and business requirements into user-friendly system enhancements and reporting solutionsPartner with IT to support system upgrades, patches, and testing of new developments as neededSupport financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis within EPM and related reporting toolsSupport special projects and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field2+ years of experience in financial reporting, system administration, or supporting Oracle EPM or similar planning toolsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business teamsPreferred:Experience with Oracle EPM modulesFamiliarity with Smart View or data integration toolsExperience with PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP systemsKnowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesIndependence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday).

This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model.
