Financial Specialist LeadThe Financial Specialist Lead is responsible for driving day-to-day operational excellence by keeping the banking center in compliance with all bank policies and procedures. The individual contributes to a positive customer experience by processing transactions, opening deposit accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. The individual has the opportunity to work closely with the banking center manager by mentoring other team members and assisting with complex transactions or problem resolution.

Additionally, the individual will work collaboratively with the banking center team to ensure that our customers get access to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs. Additional duties are:Processes transactions diligently and in accordance with established policies & guidelinesBalances transactions and cash substantiating transaction negotiability and an adequate audit trailBalances end of day processes and teaches other to balance end of day processesMakes decisions and approves higher level transactions and tasks within established guidelinesUncovers customer expansion opportunities and refers customers to proper bank personnelAssists customers with the opening of deposit accounts and ancillary deposit servicesPerforms account maintenance and thoroughly researches and resolves customer service issues as well as outagesMentors/trains new employeesRequires work on physical bank premisesQualifications:High school diploma or GED4+ years customer service in new accounts and account openingSkills:Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skillsMust be able to do simple math and carry out written instructionsWork occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the positionLifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.ANBTX strongly encourages candidates that are fluent in English and Spanish to apply.
