Senior ConsultantJob Family: Management ConsultingTravel Required: Up to 25%Clearance Required: NoneWhat You Will Do:As a Senior Consultant in Guidehouse's Commercial Financial Services practice, you will play a key role in delivering client engagements by analyzing problems, developing solutions, and supporting implementation efforts. You will work as part of a client-facing team, contributing to one or more workstreams and collaborating closely with project leadership to ensure successful outcomes.Support delivery of client engagements by executing discrete workstreams and producing high-quality, timely analyses and deliverablesConduct research, data analysis, and process assessments (e.g., process mapping, control evaluation) to inform client recommendationsDevelop clear, well-structured reports, presentations, and client-ready materialsParticipate in client meetings, including working sessions and status updates, contributing insights and progress updatesCollaborate with team and engagement leadership to track deliverables, timelines, and risksSupport implementation of recommended solutions and operational improvementsBuild foundational client relationships through consistent, professional engagementWhat You Will Need:Bachelor's degree3–5 years of experience in the banking industry or commercial financial services consultingExperience supporting projects in one or more of the following areas:Operational risk and/or large bank complianceBanking regulations and complianceRisk and controls assessments, including process mappingAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsExperience developing client-ready deliverablesProficiency in Microsoft Office (incl Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to manage workstreams and meet deadlinesCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within and across teamsAbility to work onsite at client locations in New York City plus travel as neededWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Prior experience in management consultingExposure to Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIBs)Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP)Advanced degree (MBA, MA/MS in a related field)The annual salary range for this position is $107,000.00-$178,000.00.
