Goodwin seeks a highly qualified mid‑level associate to join our Financial Services practice in the Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling on consumer and small business financial products and services, including payments, credit, alternative lending arrangements (earned wage access, merchant cash advances, factoring), deposits, and payments.
- Manage substantial components of projects independently.
- Work collaboratively in teams.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations that apply to these products and services.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Comparable law firm experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).
- Ambitious with strong writing and oral presentation skills.
