Management Consulting PositionAs a Managing Consultant in Guidehouse's Commercial Financial Services practice, you will leverage your subject matter expertise and experience to drive results as an individual contributor and team member. You will have responsibility to drive projects, including client management and solution implementation. You may own multiple project workstreams and will interact with the client, including leadership, to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting team / leaders. Managing Consultants are expected to drive and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor more junior consultants and ensure quality deliverables.Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in the banking industry or commercial financial services consulting, including experience with Global Systemically Important Bank(s) (GSIBs).5+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas:Operational risk and/or big bank complianceBanking regulations and complianceExperience with risk and controls current state assessments (including process mapping)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced challenging client focused environment where priorities and scope may change quicklyExcellent presentation, facilitation, verbal and written communication skills, tailoring communications to both clients and coworkersWillingness and ability to work onsite at clients' sites in New York City approximately 3 days/week; must be willing to travel if not local to New York City metropolitan areaProficient in all Microsoft Office productsCreative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindsetFocus on exceptional quality and timeliness in all deliverablesProven ability to successfully lead client service delivery teams that deliver the highest quality workDemonstrated positive and productive client relationship skillsAbility to generate a quality work product in a timely manner while maintaining a strong attention to detailExperience working on discrete, time sensitive projectsHighly motivated, driven, and dynamic attitude towards work and careerHigh-energy, positive, accountable, persuasive, and aptitude to lead by example.Prior management consulting experienceCPA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certificationsMBA or MA/MS degree in a related fieldThe annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00-$204,000.00.
