Remote Full Time Law Practice

Financial Services Litigation Attorney – New York | Hybrid

I’m working with an established national law firm that is looking to add a mid-to-senior level Litigation Attorney to its Financial Services practice in New York.

This could be a particularly good fit for someone who wants high-quality financial services litigation, genuine responsibility and greater flexibility around how they work.

The team represents major financial institutions in sophisticated state and federal court matters, including single-plaintiff litigation and appeals, with attorneys given the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of their cases.

What are they looking for?

You'll need to be admitted to the New York Bar and in good standing, with solid litigation experience.

Experience in financial services litigation, contested foreclosure and/or consumer debt litigation would be particularly relevant, although they are open to strong litigators from related backgrounds.

You'll ideally be comfortable:

  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Handling mediations and court hearings
  • Managing substantive litigation matters
  • Producing high-quality legal research and written work
  • Working directly with clients and taking ownership of cases

Why consider it?

You'd be joining an established national platform with a sophisticated financial services client base, while retaining hybrid / remote flexibility.

There's also a strong emphasis on attorney development, with access to mentorship, training and opportunities to continue building your litigation experience.

Base salary is expected to be $140,000–$200,000 for New York City candidates, depending on experience and other relevant factors, with additional bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Location : New York

Working arrangement : Hybrid / Remote

Practice : Financial Services Litigation

Salary : $140,000–$200,000 base + bonus opportunities

Admission : New York Bar required

You don't need to be actively looking to have a conversation. If the combination of financial services work, more responsibility and greater flexibility sounds interesting, I'm happy to share more details confidentially.

If you'd prefer to speak directly, call me on . I appreciate that as a busy attorney, finding time for a conversation during the working day isn't always straightforward.
