Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Financial Services Litigation Associate in San Francisco. This full-time position is ideal for 4th to 6th year associates interested in financial services litigation, particularly in representing broker-dealers and registered representatives in FINRA arbitrations.

Duties

• Analyze issues and conduct research for drafting briefs on sophisticated legal matters.


• Participate in FINRA arbitration and motion arguments.


• Prepare outlines and exhibits for depositions and trials.


• Manage cases, including discovery responses and document review.


• Collaborate with clients and cross-office teams strategically and analytically.

Requirements

• Experience in FINRA arbitration and trial preparation.


• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.


• Case management experience.


• Law Review/Journal or Moot Court experience preferred.


• Good standing with the California State Bar.


• Admission to California District Courts preferred.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

California State Bar admission.
