Litigation AssociateDirect Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Financial Services Litigation Practice Group.This is an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate with at least 3 years of litigation experience focused on commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, and creditor/lender liability. The associate will join a highly collaborative national practice representing financial institutions in complex litigation matters.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, legal memoranda, and discovery requestsRepresent financial institutions and lenders in real estate and commercial disputesManage complex litigation from inception through trial or resolutionConduct legal research and analysis across multiple financial litigation issuesCollaborate closely with partners and contribute to a team-oriented environmentQualificationsRequired:JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentialsAdmission to the State BarAt least 2 years of relevant litigation experience relating to commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability.Extensive experience with legal drafting and procedural motion practiceExcellent writing, research, and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesPreferred:Background in commercial litigation or financial services litigationExperience at a national or large regional law firmCompensation & Benefits$235k/yr - $365k/yr base salary commensurate with experiencePerformance-based discretionary bonus potentialComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability coverage401(k) retirement planPaid time off and parental leaveAccess to professional development and mentorship programsApplication RequirementsInterested candidates should submit:Cover letterResumeLegal writing sample
