Job OverviewA law firm seeks a mid-level Financial Services Litigation Associate in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in complex litigation, particularly in financial services, and possess strong writing and interpersonal skills. They will work collaboratively across offices and manage cases effectively.
Duties
- Analyze issues and conduct research for drafting briefs on sophisticated legal matters.
- Defend financial institutions in litigation in federal or state court or arbitration.
- Demonstrate familiarity with federal banking regulations and standards.
- Prepare for and participate in motion arguments.
- Prepare outlines and exhibits for depositions; taking or defending depositions is a plus.
- Manage cases, including written discovery responses, document review, and client interactions.
Requirements
- 3rd to 5th year Associate with experience in complex litigation.
- Solid academic performance and good standing with the TX State Bar.
- Admission to the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas preferred.
Education
- Law degree with Law Review/Journal and/or Moot Court experience preferred.
Certifications
- Admission to the Texas State Bar.
