Law firm seeks a Financial Services Associate in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience and a strong understanding of federal securities laws to join their Financial Services group.
Duties
- Advise clients on fund structures and regulatory matters.
- Handle cross-border registration and regulatory examinations.
- Engage in enforcement and broker‑dealer matters.
- Address issues involving blockchain and digital assets.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Investment Company Act and/or Investment Advisers Act.
- Experience with exchange‑traded funds, interval funds, or business development companies is a plus.
- Familiarity with global asset management regulation, broker‑dealer, commodities, and/or digital assets work is advantageous.
- Large law firm, in‑house, or regulatory agency experience preferred.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Certifications
Bar admission in good standing.
