This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 2-4 years of experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency matters to join a nationally recognized practice representing debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in complex financial restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, and other financial reorganization matters.
- Advise clients on business reorganizations, restructuring transactions, and insolvency-related issues.
- Handle bankruptcy-related litigation, contested matters, and adversary proceedings.
- Draft and negotiate restructuring agreements, court filings, motions, and related transaction documents.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategic solutions for distressed businesses and creditors.
- J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Active Bar membership in good standing.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial restructuring, business reorganizations, bankruptcy law, and bankruptcy-related litigation.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and insolvency proceedings.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Base salary: $235,000-$310,000 (New York salary range; compensation may vary by office location and experience).
