Financial Reporting SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for creating comprehensive financial reports, supporting external audit processes, ensuring compliance with banking covenant requirements, and managing consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.Key responsibilities include:Building and maintaining financial reports using various accounting software platformsDeveloping automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracyCreating, maintaining, and supporting various business units with budget preparation and forecasting processesPreparing consolidated financial statements for multiple legal entities and subsidiariesPerforming consolidation adjustments including intercompany eliminationsEnsuring proper application of consolidation accounting principles and standardsSupporting external audit activities throughout the audit cycleAssisting with audit report preparationResponding to auditor requests for reporting and variance analysisMonitoring and reporting on bank covenant compliance on a regular basisCalculating and tracking key financial ratios and metrics required by lending agreementsPreparing detailed covenant compliance reports for banking partnersIdentifying potential covenant violations early and recommending corrective actionsMaintaining documentation supporting covenant calculations and assumptionsSupporting budget preparation and variance analysisMaintaining accurate and organized financial recordsParticipating in process improvement initiativesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracyAbility to collaborate effectively with business unit leaders on financial planningRequired qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in financial reporting or public accountingExperience with consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)Experience with financial reporting tools and databasesBudgeting and forecasting software experienceKnowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
