Financial Reporting SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for creating comprehensive financial reports, supporting external audit processes, ensuring compliance with banking covenant requirements, and managing consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial reports using various accounting software platformsDevelop automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracyCreate, maintain, and support various business units with budget preparation and forecasting processesConsolidated Financial ReportingPrepare consolidated financial statements for multiple legal entities and subsidiariesPerform consolidation adjustments including intercompany eliminationsEnsure proper application of consolidation accounting principles and standardsExternal Audit SupportSupport external audit activities throughout the audit cycleAssist with audit report preparationRespond to auditor requests for reporting and variance analysisBank Covenant ReportingMonitor and report on bank covenant compliance on a regular basisCalculate and track key financial ratios and metrics required by lending agreementsPrepare detailed covenant compliance reports for banking partnersIdentify potential covenant violations early and recommend corrective actionsMaintain documentation supporting covenant calculations and assumptionsGeneral DutiesSupport budget preparation and variance analysisMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsParticipate in process improvement initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracyAbility to collaborate effectively with business unit leaders on financial planningRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in financial reporting or public accountingExperience with consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting requiredTechnical SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)Experience with financial reporting tools and databasesBudgeting and forecasting software experienceKnowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparationCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
