As a Financial Reporting Manager working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for a significant amount of the company's quarterly and annual filings, and will closely interact with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and Tax.
We trust that as a Financial Reporting Manager you will: (responsibilities)
- Preparation of 8K, 10Q, 10K reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Support and assist with any transaction related to SEC reporting (i.e. M&A, debt issuance, etc.)
- Assist in the maintenance of internal controls documentation related to corporate financial reporting and accounting to ensure compliance with SOX
- Creation of reporting schedules in conjunction with the accounting team
- Assist CAO with key reports and presentations
- Research and interpret U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance; draft technical accounting memos
- Assist with the preparation of the annual proxy
- Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on the company
- Support complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, stock‑based compensation, leases, business combinations, and impairments
- Assist with audit requests and act as a key liaison with external auditors
- You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:
- 7+ years of experience in public accounting or public company in an SEC regulated environment
- CPA required
- Masters/Bachelors in Accountancy required

- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Salary Range: $105,570 $153,080
Bonus or Commission Eligible: 25% AIP
