Financial Reporting Manager

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team responsible for accounting operations, financial reporting, and close management across multiple business units. This role will serve as a strategic finance partner, ensuring reporting integrity, driving process efficiencies, and supporting senior leadership with timely financial insights. This is a hybrid opportunity! Ideal candidate will come out of Advertising, or Media.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end financial reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a distributed accounting team, establishing performance expectations and fostering professional development.
• Analyze financial statements and operating results to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with finance and operational leaders to support business objectives and address reporting-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, review journal entries, and validate supporting documentation for key accounting transactions.
• Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders during audit engagements and financial reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scalability.
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting processes.
• Oversee offshore financial reporting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or controllership experience.
• Prior experience leading accounting teams in a complex, multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes.
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and compliance initiatives.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills.
• Advertising, or Media Agency experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
