To support financial reporting needs, the full-time Financial Reporting Analyst I will prepare quarterly and annual GAAP and statutory-basis financial statements, assist in audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with options for remote, hybrid, or onsite work in Kansas or Missouri. Key responsibilities Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators Support the preparation of quarterly and annual statement filings and external reporting requirements Contribute to the preparation and coordination of annual/quarterly financial statement audits Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 0-3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a related field Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and statutory accounting principles (STAT) Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Specialized knowledge of costing, line of business, and governmental accounting for certain aspects of the role
