Role Overview
Provide domain-specific finance expertise to a GenAI research and engineering team at a leading AI lab, shaping finance-focused training data and evaluations used to develop advanced large language models. You will bring real-world financial judgment to task design, solution writing, and model assessment, ensuring outputs reflect professional practice and rigorous reasoning.
Key Responsibilities- Guide research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps in financial reasoning, analysis, and decision-making.
- Design domain-relevant, challenging finance tasks and produce accurate, well-reasoned solutions grounded in real financial practice.
- Evaluate AI model outputs against structured rubrics, providing clear written feedback on correctness, judgment, and reasoning quality.
- Develop and refine evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics for finance tasks.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training and evaluation data.
- Minimum 2+ years of dedicated professional experience in finance, for example investment banking, asset management, corporate finance, accounting or audit, corporate treasury, or financial planning and analysis. Experience must be focused on finance, not a peripheral or generalist role.
- Professional finance credential required: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Ability to engage reliably for at least 10 hours per week during weekdays.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Employment type: hourly, W-2 position with Cincinnatus LLC serving as employer of record.
- Placement: you will be placed to work as part of an extended workforce with a leading AI lab.
- Location: US remote.

- Pay range: 65 to 90 hourly.
- Must hold one of the required professional credentials: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
