Description

The Role

As the Financial Manager, you will oversee all financial aspects of our organization, providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure financial stability and growth. You will collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with our business objectives and support our mission in the health science sector.

What You’ll Do

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
• Report to tax and state level authorities as throughout the year.
• Oversee cash flow management and investment strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial awareness and accountability across the organization.
• Work with finance team members and other departments to grow business.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance brokers to negotiate annual premiums.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in the nutraceutical or related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial software and ERP systems, NetSuite specific.
• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Professional certifications.
