AP Executive Staffing is partnered with a growing logistics company in the Buffalo area to hire a Director of Finance.

This full-time opportunity offers a collaborative seat at the leadership table, working closely with the President to shape financial strategy and drive business growth. The position is onsite in Pembroke, NY, and offers a salary range of $125,000–$140,000 annually.

The company operates multiple warehouse locations and has recently expanded its headquarters with a state-of-the-art racking system and 10,000 square feet of office space. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, procurement, and cash flow.
• Lead month-end close and generate timely, accurate financial statements and reports.
• Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership to support business goals and growth opportunities.
• Lead the annual budget process and drive accurate forecasting with department leaders.
• Supervise and support AR/AP teams while ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Manage tax filings and regulatory reporting across multiple states and agencies.
• Create pricing models and support cost analysis for new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience leading financial operations in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in GAAP, Excel (pivot tables, databases), and QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Warehouse Management or ERP systems is a strong plus.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team performance.

Salary Range: $125,000–$140,000 depending on experience.
