Financial Director

Our client is an an established nonprofit organization in Greater Boston is seeking a Director of Finance to serve as a key leader and strategic partner to senior leadership. This role owns two equally important sides of the house: the organization's finances - budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit, and investment oversight - and the operational backbone, including people, facilities, tech, and the systems that keep things running day to day. You'll partner closely with the leadership team and Board committees and lead a capable team across both areas. It's a rare chance to shape both the financial and operational future of a mission-driven organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive finance and operations leadership
• Experience owning both financial management and broader operational functions
• Strong grounding in nonprofit/fund accounting, budgeting, and audit
• Comfort leading and developing a team across multiple functions

Preferences

• Independent or mission-driven nonprofit experience
• Experience partnering with a Board and its committees
