Our mission remains the same - to provide our patients with the same high quality health care that we expect for our families.We are seeking a full-time Financial Counselor for medical billing to join our Central Billing Office team.Wage Range DOEIn this position you will:Review accounts and determine if payers have made appropriate paymentsIdentify delinquent self-pay accounts, perform various collection actions including contacting patients by phone and follow company collection policiesEvaluate patient financial status and establish budget payment plans when appropriateAnswer inquiries and correspondence from patients and insurance companiesIdentifies and resolves patient billing complaints through review of account, researching credit balances, etc.Must have understanding of insurance contracts.Comply with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations.Benefits Offered:Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time off401(k) + matchVoluntary benefits - Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Disability insuranceEmployee assistance programMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience with collections and/or medical billing preferredThe successful candidate will be subject to a background check.An Equal Opportunity Employer
