Overseeing the operations of the Patient Benefit Advising call center, the full-time salaried Financial Counseling Manager will manage a team that assists patients with understanding their insurance benefits and payment plans while contributing to increased collections and cash flow in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Manages the On-site Patient Access Financial Counseling team to assist patients with insurance benefits and payment arrangements Establishes departmental goals and develops policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency Monitors team performance and productivity to ensure quality of work and identifies opportunities for improvement Required qualifications: Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience with knowledge of insurance eligibility and financial counseling Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data for reporting purposes Experience in developing policies and managing budgets in compliance with guidelines Strong interpersonal skills for effective team leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders
