Financial ControllerThis opportunity has arisen due to an internal transfer within our finance team. We are therefore looking to welcome a new team member who wishes to contribute to a large, multi-site team known for its collaboration and expertise. Furthermore, since the previous incumbent remains with the organization, the selected candidate will benefit from a smooth transition and support to ensure a seamless integration into their new role.This role is based in our plant in State College, Pennsylvania.The Financial Controller serves as a key financial leader, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information, internal controls, monthly closings, and support for budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Taking ownership of our actions and delivering high-quality outcomes with integrity, consistency and transparency.We are stronger together and committed to creating an inclusive environment where voices are heard, respected and supported.Joining our team means:Collaborating with experts dedicated to innovation in an environment that values different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences.Becoming part of an organization that values commitment, initiative, and collaboration to help achieve common goals.Working in a growing business that encourages learning, curiosity, and respectful challenge.Being supported through fair, transparent and equitable practices.Contributing to meaningful projects that create a lasting impact.We encourage candidates to apply even if they do not meet every requirement listed, as we recognise that skills and experience can be gained in many ways.As Financial Controller, you must be able to:Financial Reporting & Month-EndReview monthly financial statements and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial reportingOversee month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysesReview balance sheet accounts and monitor key financial indicatorsEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, US GAAP standards, and corporate proceduresEnsure the integrity and consistency of financial data across entitiesSupport external and internal audit activities and prepare required documentationParticipate in statutory, tax, and government reporting requirementsEnsure proper accounting treatment for complex or non-routine transactionsFinancial Management & OperationsManage cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital requirementsSupport budgeting and forecasting processesAnalyze actual financial results versus budget and prior periodsOversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing activitiesApprove payments and support banking activitiesMonitor financial risks and ensure appropriate controls are in placeSupport payroll review and approval processesLeadership & Continuous ImprovementSupervise and support accounting technicians in their daily activities and professional developmentEnsure efficient workload management and team coordination during month-end activitiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives for financial and operational processesParticipate in ERP optimization and finance transformation initiatives (SAP S/4HANA)Collaborate with various corporate finance functions including consolidation, tax, treasury, and FP&A teamsContribute to corporate initiatives, process improvements, and ad hoc projectsWe value transferable skills, different career paths and learning agility.

Experience gained through non-traditional routes is welcome.What makes you an asset to our team:Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA TitleFive (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reportingStrong experience managing full-cycle accounting and month-end close processesExperience supervising or mentoring accounting staff is considered a strong assetExperience in a multi-entity and international environment is considered an assetExperience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA is an asset)Previous experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is considered an assetExperience in public accounting is considered an assetStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelSolid understanding of accounting principles and US GAAPStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsLeadership abilities with a collaborative and hands-on approachAbility to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAutonomous, detail-oriented, and results-drivenFlexibility with working hours, particularly during month-endAt Eddyfi technologies, diversity, equity and inclusion are fundamental to who we are.
