Central Washington Asphalt, Inc . is looking for a Financial Controller for a fast paced dynamic and growing construction company located in Moses Lake, WA. This position is not open to remote work.
The right person for this position will possess the following skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong background in cash management, financial report writing, and accounting
- Experience in financial analysis
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Must have excellent computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Excel & QuickBooks
Job Responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- Monthly job cost reporting
- Oversee and assist payroll as needed
- Must have in-depth experience preparing quarterly payroll tax reports for 300+ employees
- Reconcile bank statements for multiple accounts
- Complete excise tax returns and contract clearances with the Department of Revenue
- Supervise AP & AR departments as needed
- Supervise completion of annual audits as required
