DescriptionKforce is seeking a hands-on, high-execution Financial Controller for a direct-hire role starting by late October 2026 to lead year-end close and December audit preparations.
The role requires occasional evening overlap with Australia and potential December travel.Requirements* Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA (or equivalent) with Big Four or mid-tier public accounting training* Leadership & Tenure: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller responsibilities* Audit Experience: 3+ years in external audit (running fieldwork) PLUS preparer-side experience for 2+ full-cycle statutory audits* Technical Accounting: Deep US GAAP expertise, practical ASC 606 (SaaS/subscription) and ASC 830 (multi-currency, translation, revaluation)* Core Finance Operations: Hands-on multi-entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations, transfer pricing, deferred revenue waterfalls, and tax coordination* Execution Style: Must personally perform month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and AR within a lean team environmentPreferred Skills:* SaaS Metrics: Experience with ARR, NRR, hardware/software hybrid streams, and NetSuite/Maxio tools* International: Exposure to UK, Australia, or New Zealand markets and managing offshore finance teamsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation - $
