Financial Controller (Construction)

Seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controller (Construction) to manage accounting operations and financial reporting for a remote, full-time position, focusing on overseeing financial close processes, internal controls, and team leadership within a growing portfolio of construction-related businesses. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Oversee general ledger activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management Design and implement internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Required Qualifications Construction accounting experience, including job costing and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a management role Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing consolidated financial statements Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct
