Cahaba Restoration is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of the financial side of a growing company.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a Controller-level role
* Experience overseeing financial operations and P&L responsibility for a business with $10M+ in annual revenue
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Ability to manage month-end and year-end closing processes
* Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
* Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
* Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
* Ability to create and maintain accurate financial reports for leadership
* Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly with our team
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
* Previous experience in the restoration, construction, roofing, or home-services industry is a plus

* Manage and analyze the company's Profit & Loss (P&L) , including revenue, expenses, margins, and overall profitability
* Prepare and present accurate financial reports to company leadership
