Financial Analyst

Location: Worcester, MA 01608
Schedule: 100% Onsite, 5 Days per Week
Salary: Up to $110,000

CFS is partnering with a growing construction-focused organization seeking a driven Financial Analyst to support financial planning, project analysis, and operational decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with project teams and leadership in a fast-paced construction environment.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities

• Analyze project financial performance, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor job costs, margins, and project profitability
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project forecasts and reporting packages
• Review and analyze WIP (Work-in-Progress) schedules
• Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
• Partner with project managers and operations leaders to provide financial insights
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
• Track key project metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for executive leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of financial analysis experience
• Construction industry experience is required
• Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, and WIP reporting
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
