Financial AnalystnnTimpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automotive company thatnmanufactures HVAC and they're looking for a Financial Analyst.nnnPOSITION SUMMARY:nFinancial Analyst will prepare Company's business plans, forecasts and relatednvariance analysis along with other financial analysis studies and reports.nnnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:n * Plays key role in the preparation of analytical reports and tools includingn P&L and cost center performance- interfacing with business units, functionaln leaders, and other stakeholders.n * Participates in the company's budgeting/forecasting process to includen identifying cost savings efforts, tracking monthly performance, andn analyzing, summarizing, and understanding variances to budget/forecast/priorn year.n * Regularly communicates with department managers regarding expectations forn preparation and review of budgets, forecasts and actual results relative ton expectations.n * Prepares accurate reporting of variances and works with department managersn to develop accurate internal reporting.n * Ensures that consistent practices are used to maintain integrity of financialn data and related systems: researches and reconciles data analysis forn accuracy.n * Performs ad hoc core financial analysis and reporting responsibilities ton support internal initiatives and projects focusing on driving efficiency andn transparency.n * Reviews operating results and prepare variance and trend analysis monthly. n * Prepares company's business plan, monthly forecasts and variance analysis.n * Manages capital budgets and appropriation requests.n * Prepares monthly reporting packages for internal and external reporting.n * Support EHS objectives.n * Other duties as assigned.nnnnEDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:n * Bachelor's degree with a preference for a degree in Business, Finance,n Accounting, Economics and/or equivalent work experience.n * 1-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst preferred.n * Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.n * General understanding of accounting principles.n * Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel andn PowerPoint.n * Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.n * Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline driven environment
