Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a remote Financial Analyst II to join a major healthcare system on their treasury team. This financial analyst will be doing a mixture of analytical and accounting work. They will be working with the patient accounting/billing office in order to mesh what deposits they are posting into the general ledger, bank, and AR system. Their goal is to keep everything balanced in all 3 systems. This FA will work heavily in their cash application management system (CAMS) and work to reconcile cash postings/data trends. They will also work on forecasting data, analyze trends, conduct deep data dives, reconcile banking transactions/statements as well as credit card statements. This analyst needs to be able to work comfortably within Excel and be able to analyze and reconcile data. This role will include a lot of analysis, reconciliation, some accounting work, critical thinkings, project work and more. Additional job functions include:nn•tApplies the principles and practices of financial analysis, as well as account reconciliation.n•tResearches and analyzes financial, banking and patient billing data and trends as requested to assist in accurate bank reconciliation and smooth patient billing operations.n•tPrepares status and financial reports and provides cross-team multi-facility support for internal customers.n•tConducts and documents financial analysis projects in the department.n•tPrepares accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.n•tEnsures completeness, accuracy, and integrity of databases, mappings, and reference tables within the cash application software system.n•tWorks with Information Systems and software vendor to resolve system issues.n•tManages, updates, and maintains system documentation.n•tAssists in educating end users of system features, capabilities, and enhancements as they become available.n•tCompletes a limited amount of journal entries as necessary when reconciling banking activitynnCandidates must reside in NC, SC, or GA
