Markon is seeking a Financial Analyst / Power BI Developer to support Intelligence Community financial management and budget execution activities. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, supporting financial reporting and spend plan analysis, and assisting with fiscal year closeout and budget planning activities. The position works closely with budget teams, financial stakeholders, and cost recovery partners to analyze financial data, develop cost models, and provide reporting solutions that support mission and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Lead demonstrations and presentations of Power BI dashboards and financial reporting tools
Support budget execution activities by mapping TSR transactions to spend plan lines
Create and maintain spend plan Excel documents and import relevant financial data
Support fiscal year closeout activities, including preparation and coordination of final funding documents
Finalize fiscal year financial builds and reporting products
Analyze financial data, expenditures, and program costs to support decision-making
Develop and maintain financial and cost models
Coordinate with budget teams and cost recovery partners to support financial planning efforts
Examine and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency
Collaborate with Government stakeholders and internal teams to support reporting and financial management objectives
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualizations
Strong experience with financial reporting, budget execution, and spend plan analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Experience analyzing financial data and developing cost models
Ability to present financial and reporting data to stakeholders and leadership
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience supporting fiscal year closeout and funding activities preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range
USD $170,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
